About Us

Supporting the frontline

In Afghanistan our team designed and built two 16,000 square foot Field Service Centres providing the US Army with vital facilities to maintain its Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles in-theatre. The facilities provide dedicated space in which our representatives can perform maintenance tasks, mid-level fabrications, service and repairs.

We have recently received a $21.9 million contract from the U.S. Marine Corp for ongoing maintenance, updates and repairs.  The award will be used to expand the universal MRAP maintenance workforce in Afghanistan, allowing BAE Systems to provide 48 workers who will ensure troops have ongoing, sustained field support with the latest safety technology.

BAE Systems will perform all work on this contract in Afghanistan, with completion expected by December 2012.  More information can be found in the press release >>
