Designed by combat engineers for the full range of combat engineering tasks, the 18-ton, fully tracked M9 Armored Combat Earthmover (ACE) can do whatever it takes to ready and maintain the forward battle area for offensive or defensive operations.
Whether digging fighting positions, clearing anti-tank ditches, constructing airfields or hauling up to 8.7 cubic yards (6.7 cubic meters) of debris, the armor-protected ACE is invaluable on the battlefront.
With the unique ability to quickly load and unload ballast needed for dozing, the M9 ACE can stay with battlefront action. By lowering the suspension while fully ballasted, the brute pushing power of the ACE can be fully realized. By raising the suspension, the empty vehicle has the speed and agility for force maneuvers.
